Objective To explore and analyze the preventive and therapeutic effects of standardized management of hypertension. Methods One hundred and two hypertensive patients from the Cheng County Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Longnan City, Gansu Province from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the subjects of this study. According to the random number table method, they were divided into a control group and an observation group. The control group received routine management, while the observation group received standardized management of hypertension. The blood pressure levels of the two groups were compared, self-management ability, incidence of complications and quality of life. Results There was no significant difference in systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and ESCA score between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05). After intervention, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and complication rate in observation group were lower than those in control group, and ESCA score and SF-36 score were higher than those in control group (P<0.05). Conclusions The prevention and treatment of hypertension need to start from multiple dimensions and ensure the standardization of intervention measures in order to significantly improve patients' blood pressure levels, self-management ability, incidence of complications and quality of life.
